Cards capture. We close the loop.
Honest head-to-heads with the card and capture platforms: what they do better, where RareMachine differs, and which to pick. Re-verified quarterly.
How does RareMachine compare with Blinq, HiHello, and Popl?
Blinq, HiHello, and Popl are card and contact platforms. They are excellent at digital business cards, badge and card scanning, and moving contacts into a CRM. RareMachine is a WhatsApp-based lead-capture tool for field sales teams, and it starts where those tools stop. Sales reps capture a card, a badge or a voice note in WhatsApp, with no app to install, and when the venue has no signal WhatsApp holds each capture in its own outbox and sends it once signal returns. Nothing is written to HubSpot, Zoho CRM or Frappe CRM until it is approved, either by a person or by an admin’s workspace auto-sync setting. Event attribution is a rule rather than a report: only rostered reps, only during the event’s hours, in the event’s own time zone. And your CRM stays the system of record: RareMachine keeps a write-once log of what each capture read, plus the audit trail, and reads anything current live from the CRM. If you need cards or brand presence alone, pick one of the incumbents. If capture has to end in an approved, attributed CRM record, pick RareMachine. The short version of every page below.
If you need cards, presence or scanning alone, the incumbents are excellent. If capture has to end in an approved, attributed CRM write — over WhatsApp, with your CRM as the single source of truth — that is the part we built.
