## What you'll need

- A card that is live. See [Create your card](/help/digital-cards/create-your-card).

## Build and use your background

  1. **Open Meeting backgrounds**
In the sidebar, choose **Meeting backgrounds**. A large preview shows your background with your name and QR code.

  2. **Choose a photo**
In the photo gallery below the preview, choose a tile. The preview updates.

  3. **Place the QR code**
Under **QR position**, choose a corner, then choose a **QR size**: **Small**, **Medium** or **Large**.

  4. **Choose what shows**
Under **Show on the background**, switch **Name**, **Job title** and **Company** on or off.

  5. **Download the image**
Optionally type a **Download filename**, then choose **Download PNG**. The button works once the preview has finished updating.

  6. **Upload it to your meeting app**
Open your meeting app's background settings and upload the downloaded PNG as a custom virtual background. This works in Zoom, Google Meet and Microsoft Teams.

**Note:** In Google Meet your own preview looks mirrored. Meet flips your self-view the way a mirror does, and everyone else on the call sees the background the right way round.

Result: your name and QR code appear behind you in your meeting, and anyone can scan the code to open your card.

## Frequently asked questions

Yes. Under QR position choose one of the four corner buttons, named Top left, Top right, Bottom left and Bottom right, and choose a QR size of Small, Medium or Large.
