# Share your card with a QR code

Show your card's QR code or copy its link so people can open your card.

## What you'll need

- A card that is live. Your admin turns on team cards, then you add your details in [Create your card](/help/digital-cards/create-your-card).

## Share your card

  1. **Open Cards**
   In the sidebar, choose **Cards**.

  2. **Choose Share**
   Under your card, choose **Share**.

  3. **Show the QR code**
   The **Share this card** dialog opens with your QR code at the top. Hold your screen up for someone to scan it with their phone camera.

  4. **Copy the link**
   To send your card by message or email instead, choose the link below the QR code. It copies to your clipboard and its icon changes to a tick.

  5. **Check what people see**
   Choose **Open card page** to open your card in a new tab, the way a visitor sees it.

Result: people who scan the code or open the link land on your card page.

## Frequently asked questions

### Why is there no Share button?

Your card is still a draft. The card shows Save your card to share it until you open Edit and save it.

### Where else can I put my QR code?

On a meeting background, where you choose the corner and size, and in an email signature, using the QR code to your card call to action.
