# Set up a team card template

Turn on team cards, pick a layout and set your branding so every member's card matches.

- An owner or admin role in the workspace.

## Set up the template

  1. **Set your branding**
   In the sidebar, choose **Settings**, then the **Branding** tab. Check **Company name** and **Name on cards**, upload your **Company logo**, choose a **Brand colour**, then choose **Save branding**.

  2. **Open Team cards**
   In the sidebar, choose **Cards**, then choose the **Team cards** row to open it. Its chip reads **On** or **Off**.

  3. **Turn on team cards**
   Switch on **Enable team cards**. When you save, RareMachine creates a card for each workspace member.

  4. **Choose a layout**
   Under **Layout**, choose **Standard**, **Hero**, **Minimal** or **Split**. The **Sample card** on the right updates as you choose.

  5. **Save your changes**
   Choose **Save changes**. The panel confirms with **Settings saved. Card creation is queued.**

       **Note:** Each member's card is created already live, showing only their name under your branding, until they add their own details.

Result: **Team cards** shows **On**, and each member finds a card on their **Cards** page, with your layout, colour and logo already set.

## Frequently asked questions

### What happens to existing cards if I turn team cards off?

Existing cards stay available. Branding and layout changes still apply to them.

### Can members change the layout or brand colour?

No. Members see the layout, brand colour and company logo under Set by your team in their editor, and only an admin changes them.

### Where do the logo and brand colour come from?

From the Branding tab in Settings, which team cards and email signatures both use.
