# Connect Zoho CRM

Link your Zoho organization to your workspace, then have each teammate connect their own account.

## What you'll need

- An owner or admin role in your RareMachine workspace.
- A Zoho CRM administrator to link the organization. That can be you.

## Connect your organization

  1. **Open Connections**
   In the sidebar, choose **Connections**. A workspace with no CRM shows **Choose your CRM**.

  2. **Choose Connect Zoho CRM**
   On the **Zoho CRM** card, choose **Connect Zoho CRM**.

  3. **Approve in Zoho**
   Zoho opens. Sign in as the Zoho CRM administrator and approve the access Zoho lists.

  4. **Check the connection**
   You return to **Connections**. The **Zoho CRM** panel shows **Connected** and your organization under the name.

  5. **Have teammates connect**
   Each teammate opens **Connections** and chooses **Connect your account** in the **Only you** section, signing in to Zoho with the same email they use in RareMachine.

       **Note:** Linking the organization also connects your own Zoho account, so you do not need to do it again.

Result: **Zoho CRM** shows **Connected**, and an **Open Zoho CRM** button takes you to your organization.

## If it does not connect

- `Only a workspace admin can connect Zoho CRM.` Ask an owner or admin of your workspace to do the first connection.
- `Zoho CRM connection was cancelled.` You left the Zoho screen without approving. Choose **Connect Zoho CRM** again.
- `That Zoho login belongs to a different Zoho organization than this workspace is connected to. Sign in to the connected organization, then try again.` Sign in to Zoho with the account from the organization your workspace is linked to.
- `Your Zoho login is a different person from your RareMachine account. Sign in to Zoho with the same email, then try again.` Use the email that matches your RareMachine account.

## Frequently asked questions

### Can I install from the Zoho Marketplace instead?

Yes. Install RareMachine from the Zoho Marketplace into your Zoho CRM organization, then open its settings widget in Zoho. The widget asks you to Authorize RareMachine, sign in to RareMachine, and connect the Zoho organization, which needs a Zoho CRM administrator.

### Do all my teammates need to be Zoho administrators?

No. Only the person who links the organization does. Everyone else connects their own account afterwards, and Zoho applies their profile permissions and sharing rules.

### What are file attachments?

After you connect your own account, an Enable file attachments button appears on Connections. It asks Zoho for an extra permission for your account only.
